SoliDecision ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SoliDecision platform at solidecision.com and the application at app.solidecision.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash). If you sign up through a team invitation, we also receive the inviting organization's name.

2.2 Decision Data

You may enter decisions, criteria, risk assessments, and related notes. This data is stored in your company workspace and is not shared across organizations. AI-generated coaching outputs (questions, structured summaries) are derived from your inputs and stored alongside them.

2.3 Usage and Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. On our marketing site, the Google tag may load with analytics storage denied by default (no analytics cookies until you accept). If you accept via our consent banner, Google Analytics may use cookies to collect aggregate page-view counts, referrer URLs, browser type, and country-level geolocation. If you decline, analytics storage remains denied and we do not use analytics cookies for measurement.

2.4 Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and a single localStorage key (solidecision_cookie_consent) to remember your analytics consent preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the SoliDecision platform.
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• To process decisions through our AI coaching engine (inputs are sent to our AI provider solely to generate structured outputs for you).
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, team invitations).
• To improve the platform based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

4. AI Data Processing

When you use the AI Decision Coach, your decision statement and conversation history for that session are sent to our AI infrastructure provider to generate structured responses. We do not use your data to train foundation models. AI outputs are stored in your workspace and subject to the same access controls as your other data.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers — cloud hosting, email delivery, and AI inference providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
• Your organization — team members within your company workspace can view shared decisions and dashboards.
• Legal compliance — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, salted password hashing, and role-based access controls. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Decision data is retained until you or your organization administrator deletes it. If you delete your account, we remove personally identifiable data within 30 days, though anonymized aggregate data may be retained for analytics.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Export your data in a portable format.

SoliDecision is a business tool not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
